Uncertains @ Moondance Jam 2017

The Uncertains have certainly been busy the last couple of weeks, and we are just now getting caught up on our blog posts. You should now be able to read about Punky's Bar and Grill, but we decided we would share what else we've been up to. The weekend of July 14th The Uncertains found themselves celebrating Hope Days. Friday night we listened to the music of Slamabama at the street dance. Saturday we enjoyed the parade, demolition derby and ended our night listening to the musical stylings of Shaun Mitzel! July 19th we all packed up the campers and the coolers and headed to Moondance Jam in Walker, Minnesota. This was the 26th year of Moondance jam and of the 12 of us that went, some had been there for 15 years! The food was a combination of what we brought (egg bake, burgers, pulled pork, salads, appetizers), and the food we found inside the concert grounds. While we usually start our days with omelet in a bag, but we didn't get to that because we opted for the breakfast buffet and Bloody Mary bar at the Lazy Moon. It was a good choice as the food was great and the Bloody Mary bar served cucumber flavored vodka! Throughout the weekend we also indulged in mini donuts, foot long corn dogs, cream cheese wontons and steak on a stick. The evenings would not have been complete without a full pizza from the Domino's food stand, and we even indulged in some Terri Chickenaki Noodles! The music was great too! For a lot of us we found a new musician, Dorothy, that put on a great show. We also enjoyed The Fabulous Armadillos, Peter Frampton and Steve Miller just to name a few! We are now looking for our next adventure! We hope to see you around as we explore the lesser known destinations of rural North Dakota. Please let us know if you have any suggestions for us. Look for our upcoming trips to Sharon, Sutton, Steele and the Minnesota Lakes area before the cold weather hits! #blogpositive
