Golfing for a Cure, Uncertain Style. Hope Golf Course Hope, ND

Golfing for a Cure, Teeing Off for the TaTa's, or Swinging for Shayden, whatever your inspiration The Uncertains went, they golfed and they would count the day as a success. On Sunday, June 4th The Uncertains certainly had a good time for a great cause. The Uncertains (5 including our "caddy") competed in the Golfing for a Cure golf tournament to raise money for The American Cancer Society. Every one of The Uncertains (and that number is still uncertain) has been affected by cancer in some way. We were lucky enough to get to golf in the 4 man scramble agains one of the great "Team Shayden" teams. The Uncertains came prepared to golf in their pink shirts with their pink golf balls. The theme of our team was "The Ticking Time Boobs" in honor of one of our originals who is BRCA2 positive. The tournament was an 18 hole, 4 man scramble with about 10 teams participating. We started off the morning with some of Tammy's scrumptious Bloody Mary's. After the first 6 holes we stopped in to the clubhouse for a lunch of crockpot ham and cheese sandwiches, pasta salad and chips. Our team finished last, but we certainly had a great time. We encourage you to find a cause you are passionate about and make a difference-whether it is financial donations or sharing your time and talents we certainly appreciate all of the work Zack and Katrina Parkman put in setting up this tournament. As we continue on our adventures we would love to hear from you! What's a great event for a deserving cause that you would recommend to The Uncertains?
