Fingal Roadhouse Fingal, ND

Road trip to the Roadhouse Friday night saw The Uncertain 5 heading to the Fingal Roadhouse with the promise of $2 beers and homemade pizza. With a tankful of gas and stomachs ready to try something new we headed out for another adventure. Before reaching Fingal, which is located about 20 miles SE of Valley City, we had the opportunity to stop at the Oriska City Park and check out their bathroom facilities. Thanks Oriska! We had a mom of 3 with, and she needed that! Leaving the Oriska Outhouse behind we proceeded south to the Fingal Roadhouse. Once we arrived and had our $2.00 beers, YES $2 BEERS!!!!, we were given the menus. Fingal has a full menu of bar food, from burgers to fried mushrooms to homemade pizza. The menu was quite large for such a small town! After checking over the menu we decided on the appetizer sampler which included the chicken strips, French fries, jalapeño poppers and cheese sticks. For the main course we order a Hawaiian Pizza and the Roadhouse Special, which was topped with all the fixin's. The appetizers came with ketchup, BBQ sauce and Ranch for dipping. We had "The Condiment Queen" with so were relieved that there was a variety of dipping sauces! The pizza was good homemade pizza with a great red sauce. Overall we would recommend the Fingal Roadhouse for it's small town ambiance, and inexpensive food and drinks. Yup, another successsful trip for the Uncertains! Make sure to send us recommendations for new places to visit! We love to hear you comments too! #blogpositive
